Join us to look for spring birds on the farm
Led by local birding enthusiast Chris Neff, we will look to see what birds have arrived at Riamede Farm for spring migration, as well as resident birds that call the farm home.
Led by local wildlife photographer and conservationist, Chris Neff, we will learn about why the birds feel at home on the farm as well as a history of Riamede.
Your attendance supports Raritan Headwaters Association's Bird-A-Thon event. Raritan Headwaters works to protect and preserve critical watershed habitat for New Jersey's native and migratory bird species. Riamede Farm is located in this sensitive watershed.
Bring binoculars and a spotting scope if you have one! We may walk up to 1.5 miles, over generally level, sometimes muddy terrain. We will bird in all weather. Be sure to check the forecast in advance and dress in layers appropriate for prevailing weather conditions.
